Wow! Sorry, I can't help ya, as I've never had luck with ferns. But yours is lovely and makes me want to try one again . . .

Cozy, the smartest thing for you to do with your beautiful fern is to cut it cleanly in half....slice a couple of inches off the bottom, too. Repot one half with new potting medium and it will fill out in no time.

Pot up the other half in a different container for yourself or to share.

I fully expected this one to die. So far it has been very easy to maintain- just water once a week.

Ok, rhizo_1. that sounds kind of scary, but I will give it a try.

I followed rhizo_1's advice to a T on March 31st and both halves are doing well.

Lots of new growth on both and filling in nicely!
(They are not as pale/yellow as they look, it's the early morning sunlight washing out the photos)
