The best time for you to repot would be early June. There is a big difference between potting up and repotting. Repotting includes root pruning and a complete change of soil - or it should, for scheffs. Do your pruning AFTER the repot, after the plant has recovered and has started pushing new growth (best), or several weeks before you do the root work. Do yourself a favor and repot into a soil that allows you to water so you're flushing the soil - whenever you want to. If you take the time to learn about how important soil choice is to getting all you can out of your plants and the growing experience, you won't regret it.
