Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, but:

My wife just poured the packet of seeds in the soil and covered with soil. 4 weeks later it looks like 4 inch tall grass--totally clumping together like grass and is falling over from the weight.

Do we have to throw them away and start over using fewer seeds and spreading them out more, or can we somehow manage to get a smaller variety of these spring onions?
