Dumbcane rotting

My dumbcane is rotting right above the soil line. Any ideas on what to do with this plant? I don't want to lose it and only 1 of 3 stems is doing this. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Tami

RE: Dumbcane rotting

I would cut above the rot, and then re-root that section (or sections) of the plant.
Next, I would try to diagnose the cause of the rot. If it's at the soil-line, it makes
me think that it's a soil issue - so I'd probably change out the mix. What kind of mix is it in?
