Hello, I'm new to posting on forums, though I've frequently visited this site for random problem solving of past plants.
Anyway, for the past few months my thanksgiving cactus has had slow, random wilting issues. I had gotten a small stem of 3 segments from my grandmothers plant about 4 years ago, and it's done great, until about January. I have always watered it once a week, and give it 1/4 - 1/2 cup of water. Once these segments began looking like they were rotting off the plant, I cut back on the water. I've loosened the soil a bit too, because I hadn't changed the amount and frequency of water since I've gotten the plant, but gave it new soil back in Nov, so I'm also thinking it could be the soil, not draining properly?
An example of this wilting is seen on the last segment closest to the bottom of the picture.
Any help would be much appreciated!
