I have a lot of aquatic, or semi-aquatic, plants but they're all out side. A lot of them are aroids.

have a 150 semi aquatic terrarium. 75 , keep GF so no plants there . A 5x10 lily pool and a 5x8 marsh garden and a 10 cutting shed lol i concentrate on the outdoor ones as so much easier to maintain.. Planted aquariums are a lot of work lol

Gary/Asleep, I'll have to dig through my photos. This is the pond with the most aquatic aroids. They're all emergent plants:
Urospatha grandis
Lasia spinosa
Cyrtosperma johnstonii
Epipremnum amplissimum
Typhonodorum lindleyanum
Lagenandra sp.
Spathiphyllum sp.
Alocasia cucullata
Alocasia macrorrhizos 'Variegata'

Fantastic!!! I killed my lindleyanum and spinosa and they are very difficult to find in this corner of the world.. I did manage to save the johnstonii where it limps along in a terrarium lol Thanks for the pix !! gary

That T.lindleyanum in the photo is 3 metres tall, not really suited to an aquarium. But the Lagenandra and Spathiphyllum would be okay. The C. johnstonii and E. amplissimum while they're still smaller would be okay but if conditions were really good they'd probably outgrow the tank too quickly.

I remember somewhere on a forum someone mentioning that T. lindleyanum had been released into some canals or something in southern Florida and was growing wild. You'd just have to find out where and pay a visit. Mine seed a lot. Used to give the seedlings away but ran out of people. Not many people want them after they see the size of mine. Now I just compost the spent flowers before any seeds develop.

That lindleyanum is just a blast! 10 feet?!! just too cool!!

Love the whole set up...if that was in my yard I don't think I'd ever leave that spot. Thanks so much for going to the trouble! :)

have often heard that about lindleyanum though hundreds of aroids I've never seen it and it should be hard to hide ??lol. In my deep water garden I grow lotus ,water lily. In the shallow . swamp lily,swamp iris,amazon sword plant.spathiphylum,,calatheas ,marantas. Sounds like plenty?? lol In large aquarium I grew madagascar lace plant until it sprang a leak mostly aroids and philos now . No longer going to winter heat so will see how that goes lol Thanks for the pix gary
