| Hi, I have had my BOP about 2 months and was just looking for some info. The last week or so a new shoot has come up at the side of the pot and im not sure what it is. see pics

| I'd say it's an offshoot and that you can propogate BOP through division. Lot's of plants multiply that way. Good time to start a second pot if you felt like it i guess. Here is a link on BOP care. I can't promise the information is legitimate though, gotta love the internet. I would bet my money that you can divide it though and both would live. |

| Looks like a Palm seedling to me. Do you have palm trees around? Or a seed could have fell in the soil at the nursery. Toni |
