I was just looking at the aroids forum. I never heard of aroids, Then there was a post about them being listed on Ebay, so I went there to see what they looked like, they just look like a house plant, but with very, very large leaves. I just want to know is that why there is a different forum for them? Or, is it because they are a different species?
Just thought I'd ask, thank you,
Carol

RE: re: Aroids

Hi Carol,

Well, it's good that you read a bit, but if you research a bit further you'll discover that Aroids are not a plant, they are an entire FAMILY of plants, many of which are commonly used as houseplants & some of which are sort of semi-tropical.

ZZ plants, Pothos, are 2 that come to mind in the Aroid family, also Taro w/ those large leaves from which Hawaiians make Poi.

Perhaps try a search on Aroid Plants & then try isolating the search to Images & you'll see this family of plants emcompasses many commonly grown houseplants. That's why the merit their own Forum.
