Getting rid of worm eggs?

Hello.

Recently I purchased a Jasmine plant, and today I transferred it to a larger pot with more soil only to discover two earthworms in the soil it came with. I'm worried that there might be eggs still in the soil. Does anyone know how to get rid of them? (If the worms and their eggs were outside it would be fine, but I just don't want them in my house).

Thank you in advance.

I'd repot your plant into fresh, fast-draining potting medium. If the jasmine was grown (or stored) in an area that invited earthworms, then other critters might be present. SUCH AS: centipedes, millipedes, slugs, ants, pillbugs, earwigs, etc.
