My $1.50 Gem in Bloom

Just wanted to post a photo of my new AV in bloom. Three flowers have opened so far, I think there's a total of nine possible flowers.

I also have a picture of one of my other Gems... I've named him 'Peewee.' I found this Peace Lily last year on a clearance rack half dead (was left in the sun!). I trimmed all the dead and dying off and nursed it back to health. It's rewarded me with its first bloom! Since last year it's tripled in size (no kidding).

Purple,
Thanks! The color is more vibrant in person (I have a stinky camera).

I think there's alot of potential for this little guy. It survived being burned, overpotted, and overwatered. When I repotted it, I removed it from a 6 inch pot and put it in a 4 inch pot... I think I could of squeezed it into a 3 inch if I had one lying around. Not to mention, it was on the clearance rack for at least two weeks sopping wet. I didn't see any dead roots either! Sometimes plants amaze me in their drive to survive.

No doubt! (To both comments since my last!) More buds have formed (or are visible from this angle) so it looks like the show will last a nice long time.

Teen,
Thanks again. :)

Purple,
Yep, more blooms to come. I'm excited.
