| I am wondering if high humidex would cause a problem when repotting...
Being 'first time bare-rooter', I am sure it will take me considerably longer. Humidex for today is 36deg.C - approx. 97F. There is also high level of smog. I am eager to start but my inexperience will probably stress the tree a lot-don't want to increase chance of killing it. Anybody experienced: is it OK to start "The Job"? Thnx. Rina |

| Humidity is your friend. Keep the roots wet or at least moist during the entire process. The most important roots - the very finest, die in minutes without moist surroundings. I work in shade, out of wind, with a tub of water and a spritzer handy. Al |

| Thanks Al; so I am ready (got home early!!!) I am going to start by taking ficus out of the pot, and washing off all of the soil. I am sure it will take a while... Thank you. (BTW, I sent maail to your private addy late last night). Rina |

| No email from you in inbox or junk file. My Windows Live mail provider takes the liberty of sending more than half of the mail I get from GW to the junk file for some unknown reason, so I'm in the habit of regularly ckng there too, but no dice. ;-( Al |
