Found this plant being neglected at work, it is in very poor condition. Anyone know the name so that I can find out what it likes?

Oh my, it is a Draecana marginata or dragon tree. It needs some serious TLC. Best wishes for health, Rhamel :~)

Any ideas on how to nurse it back to health? The plants went so long without water the stalks are all gnarly and withered. I wonder if its possible to cut off the ends and replant them?

You can try cutting the tips and putting them in water to root. The stems can be trimmed to 5 inches of the soil and it will hopefully regrow.

When you cut down the stems, you should also give it new soil, and have a look at the pot size. You will see if it's suitable, or if it needs a bigger pot. With good light and regular watering (but not too much) there are chances that the plant may recover.

Lots of info here, more light would help, I agree.
