| I won a raffle and my prize was a houseplant. It wasn't really anything special--but since I love plants--I was excited...I put it on my front porch and it has turned in to a BEAUTY. One I have never seen before---neither has anyone in my 'circle'...
It seems to be a short/slow growing vine. It has heart shaped leaves that are shiny, thick and grass green.. The blooms are cocoa (very dark maroon) in color, approx. 1" long tubular shaped with a tiny ruffling at the opening... The blooms seem to form at the end of each stem..Some w/ only 3 blooms and as many as 7.... Thank you for any/all suggestions... QB |

| W/out pic, I'm guessing Aeschynanthus (sp?), I've seen it w/ its maroon blossom w/ tiny orange fringe at the tip. |
