Rooting pachira

I pruned a couple branches off of my pachira mid-May, as it was getting leggy and sad looking (it was in an east facing window). One of the cuttings I put in water, the other in gritty mix (bark, lava rock and perlite). The one in the gritty mix shriveled up and died (I misted daily) but the one in the water has sprouted some roots and is doing so very quickly. This picture is about a weeks worth of roots. I'm wondering how much longer I should keep it in the water, or is it ready to be put in its own little pot? Since I did the prune, the plant and the cutting have been moved near a west facing window with lots of indirect sunlight. Thank you for your advice!
