I agree, too hot and leaves can discolor. Plus, if your Aglao is getting a lot of light, it will need more water, 'not soggy.'

Except for a couple brown edges, your Aglao looks fine. Cut browned leaves and edges..When you trim edges, leave about 1/8th of the brown on, otherwise it could spread. Toni

While I don't know the answer, pls. read the nearby thread called "Chinese Evergreen" at the end of which is a link to an article on Aglaoenemas.

At the end of the article (which I scanned quickly), I saw a section on browning leaves & leaf tips. I'd start there, the author seems quite knowledgeable on these. Hope it's helpful to you.
