ID and care help

Hi guys,
I recently bought this leafless stalk and I'm unsure as to what it is our about its care. I'm living in south korea so it was hard to get much information from the sales lady. I posted a picture of my plant along with one that looks similar on my street which has leaves.

I have repotted it and have it on my rooftop right now getting lots of sunshine. Any help and advice is much appreciated.

Some sort of Elephant Ear. There's a number of them, Colocasias & Alocasia and a few others. Lots of species and cultivars so at this point its impossible to say which one. The one with the leaves looks to be an Alocasia.

If that is a barcode on the label you can try to download an app on your phone that will read upc labels and see if if take you to info on the plant from the nursery. Sometimes that works.

Lastly, that plant really needs more space to grow, you should put it in a bigger pot.
