My begonia is dying..

Hi again :) You guys were so helpful last time I wanted to see if you could help with something else..
So I'm very new to the whole plants thing and me and my S.O. got a few plants, one was a pink begonia which we were told needs watering once a week and can live indoors. So we did as we we're told and while old flowers were falling, new ones were not growing and if they did grow they were very small. Also the soil was stiff dry all week long so we started watering when it felt too dry and still flowers were falling and nothing grew back. Then we had a mold problem so I cut out all the leaves and stems that had mold and no more mold showed up but the plant was still not growing. Then the leaves got brown and died and then most stems followed and.. well.. you can see in the picture how it looks now..
Anything I can do to help it? Or is it gone? Help :(

p.s. we live in Israel and it's like 30 degrees here.

Looks like an angel-wing begonia.
Normally a very hardy plant. They like moist soil under bright light. I grow mine outside under shade cloth (apparently Perth has a very similar climate to Israel)
Maybe it needs more light?
Do you have air conditioning? This can dry out the air and cause indoor plants to suffer.

I do have an AC here..
I'll move the plant to the balcony maybe it'll do better there.. Question is, will it be enough at this point or is it doomed? :/
I also have a grow light in one room with other plants that need a lot of sun light so maybe it's better to move the begonia there and not the balcony?! There's partial light in the balcony so maybe it's not enough.. What do you think? Should I maybe re-plant him in new soil or something?

If it were mine I would cut it back to about 2" and stick the top back into the pot and it will grow. Mine got to tall so I cut off the top and started a new plant, this is it, as you can see she is in front of a window and gets bright light, no direct sun and she's doing fine I think.

I don't think this is an Angel Wing or any other cane Begonia. To me it looks like a tuberous Begonia of the kind sold by florists and not designed to last very long indoors. I think it needs a lot more light but not direct sun. I'd be tempted to put it outside in a shady place and see if it recovers.

Just chiming in to agree that it looks like an elatior begonia, of the sort sold in supermarkets, not angel wing. I have both types, and the stem in that picture definitely looks more like elatior/tuberous. At any rate, I usually keep these one season only and then they're done. It might be easier to replace it than rehab it, since they are so shortlived anyway. I know you CAN keep these longer than a season but it's not usually recommended because the bloom quality tapers off...
