It's hard to see in the pic. But I had to share because my asparagus fern has never bloomed before :) it was so small I did not even know what it was lol

I know you're excited, I used to be too about that when I lived in OH. That thorny thing is probably a thuggish perennial weed where you are. Be careful about where the berries fall. Seedlings are extremely hard to pull. The novelty of this plant is long gone. This is where my Mom had a potted one...

Lol really I don't think they can survive in my zone here I have only ever seen them as house plants. If they can though I will be very careful because it is hanging over my caladiums and e.e so I would not want an invasion lol
