The pictures were taken in Yulin, Guangxi province of sub-tropical China.

The flowers are free-blooming and highly fragrant. Compared to the size of leaves, you can tell the flowers are larger. Each lasts much longer than Jasmine Sambac (probably because the many petals to open/develop over time.)

I believe this cultivar has existed for a while. Detail unknown.
