Houseplant ID

I believe that the plant pictured is a species of Dracaena but I don't know which one. I am confident that it's not a
Dracaena Fragrance or Dracaena Marginata. And I don't think it's a D. Deremensis either since Deremensis sp. never develop a bark like skin unlike Fragrance and Marginata at least not in a juvenile state.

Which one?

RE: Houseplant ID

It's definately Dracaena, but hard to tell the species. From an angle, it looks like marginata.
How wide are its leaves? Are there any markings on the leaves? Toni

leaf description

The leaves have no markings and they have are twice as long as marginata twice as wide. Roughly as wide as warnecki.
Also the leaves have ridges.

RE: Cultivar Tarzan

I'm getting closer. I been browsing google image search for Dracaena's and I found this Photobucket from here.

It's called Tarzan.

The search for what species of Dracaena it is continues.

You were right hopefulauthor. It's a cultivar of Dracaena Marginata.

Here's were I got my info.

Eureka woot

RE: Houseplant ID

Harris, there are so many new Dracaena cultivars, it's hard keeping track. lol

They call Tarzan, 'the King of Marginatas.'

Your tree is very healthy and beautiful. Please take care. It's so compact, and leaves are unmarred.

Last year, I found two new cultivars at a local grocery store. One is green w/short, semi-narrow leaves, the second, I think is 'Colorama,' has deep red foliage.

Good luck with your new plant, it's a beauty..Toni

RE: Houseplant ID

Actually the plant in the picture is in the lobby of my office building.
