Cold tolerant hanging basket

Hello, I'm just hoping someone knows which would do better in my sticky situation: We want to find a houseplant that drapes and can tolerate cold temps. Our house is wood-heated and drafty, and some houseplants, like my mother-in-law tongues, have been known to freeze. I'm hoping something like a sweet potato vine or wandering jew might work, but my internet searching is lackluster. Thanks so much!

How cold is 'cold'? What are LIGHT conditions?!

Maybe...

Ivy (English or Algerian)
Kangaroo and Grape Ivy (Cissus) both will work
Spider plants
Saxifrage sarmentosa
Sedum
Jasmine
Asparagus fern
Fuchsias

Lots of ferns

I agree that we can't be very specific with our suggestions without having a little more information. In addition to knowing how 'cold is cold" and how much light, I'd like to know what the relative humidity goes down to in the winter. That, alone, could eliminate many of your options.

No amount of misting can ever make up for a very dry, wood heated home.

Burro's Tail can survive as long as it does not get down to freezing.

Sounds like bad conditions for house plants. Cold and dry? Take fuschia off the list, it would drop every leaf it had.
