Hi, I am new to keeping houseplants, but have only lost one (ivy) so far... I just bought a new plant tonight, but it isn't labeled. Can any1 tell me what this is? Thanks

Ivy (Hedera at least) can be very difficult to grow indoors, but impossible to get rid of outside!

Try another plant. ;)

Since I have no luck uploading I will describe my newest family member... Dark green oblong leaves with red and yellow down the center of the leaf (some leaves have red some have yellow) and random spots of color on the leaf, and the leaves are wavy. Looks like newer growth starts out lighter solid green then as they mature they get their color. My collection also includes maranta, dracaena marginata, pilea, rhipsalis, sansaveria, and spider plant.

After browsing Google images, it appears to be some type of croton, not sure which one though. I may just go find it at the walmart garden center so I know what it is :)
