These spiderplants were both almost dead at the beginning of summer, look at them now!

Teen,
Wow, that's amazing! What happened to them to cause them to decline (before summer)? They sure live up to their reputation of being "indestructible."

I had them in horrible conditions and semidormant due to lack of room,

They are lovely plants. I notice the variegation is different on both - do you have the names of the varieties, teengardener?

Vittatum and Variegatum is the varieties, I have also had the species but its a tad too weedy for my taste :/

Teen,
When you say "species," are you referring to the all-green 'Spider Plant'? Mine needs a pep talk then; it's slower growing than my variegated one (go figure).

Thank you, Teen.

Yes, green=Species... My species grew so quickly i could divide it every year and still have a hard time bringing it in due to size..and way too many babies!

Teen,
Oh ok. Well I'll be darned. My variegated one is twice the size of my all-green one and I purchased them at the same time (they were babies that I bought online and were the same size at arrival). Someone give mine a pep talk!
