Indoors isn't where plants naturally occur, so plants don't usually 'like' it there when you compare indoors to an appropriate outdoor setting, though plants chosen for sale as 'houseplants' generally tolerate indoor conditions reasonably well. The potential limitations indoors are usually low light, low humidity, lack of predators to keep insect populations in check and a reduction in metabolic rates which leaves plants more susceptible to insects and disease than they would be were there metabolic rates higher (like they would normally be in an outdoor setting).

Tip - if you want the plant to grow bushy, you should pinch it now. I'll leave a link to more info about maintaining Ficus in pots over the long term. I hope you find it worth the time it takes to read it.

Your plant looks like the same kind as mine, they could be twins. I was also very pleasantly surprised to see the red on it from going outside this summer. Those of us who live where winter is too cold for these plants have no choice but to bring them inside. Just know that it's better to bring it in than take chances on borderline cold nights. I've made that mistake with a few plants and that's something they like less than coming inside, no doubt. If you take it back out for the day, after nights are too cold for it, try to devise a system to remind you, at dinner time or bed time, that your plant is outside.
