Diffenbachia leaves yellowing

Since I got my Diffenbanchia from HD its leaves have been turning yellow. I know this can be caused by over watering but I dont think I am. I water when the soil is dry as far as I can feel with my fingers.

I moved it to a sunnier spot closer to the window and Im hoping this will help it.

Does anyone have any other tips for what I might be able to do to make it spot turning yellow? Thank you.

Hiya Moose,

Pls try using a long stick or a pencil, stick it all the way down in the mix. When you pull it back up, if mix clings to the stick there's still some moisture down below (which might not be apparent from feeling the top couple of inches of the plant).

If it's a new plant, have you checked closely for insects, particularly the underside of the leaves & under the outer rim of the pot?
