I was wondering what other plant species would go well with this plant if planted in the same container ?

In my opinion, these are a stand-alone plant. Adding something else would detract from how striking these plants are.

I agree with Rhizo.

What size is your Philo?

When mature, Prince needs a lot of space. Toni

He is about 8 inches tall at the new growth and about a foot and a half wide.

I have a more positive opinion about this, but a pic of your Philo would definitely help everyone give you the most realistic opinions, suggestions. What other plants do you have? Or were you considering purchasing a companion or two? Something that creeps and dangles over the side is probably what I would consider. The only 'problem' with that is that the dangling plant would probably need to be snipped often if there isn't a lot of room below for dangling. A hanging pot can help with that.

Edited... positive opinion is a poor choice of words, sticking in my mind, I'm calling myself out. Probably loose or malleable would be better, but hope I didn't offend anyone, insinuating anything negative had been said. I didn't mean that at all. I hadn't had much coffee yet when I said it!
