Pineapple fruit

It's been a long 4 years but she has finally produced a pineapple. She only started to flower about 2 and a half months ago and has already developed into this. She has a really bad mealy bug infestation but once a week I'll spray them off with the hose and bathe her with insecticidal soap. And every second week she gets 15-15-30. So far so good!

Looking good. Mine are still only small, they can take quite a while to get to eating stage.

Congrats!
My pineapple plant is miles from fruiting:( Planted it more than a year ago and it hasn't done anything for a very long time. Now I see some new leaves but that's all, Probably my climate is not the best haha. Great experiment though,
