| I have found a new love. I have had many "green rubber trees" as I called them before I knew a little more about houseplants. LOL. I killed everyone. Then I picked up one Burgundy Ficus on sale and it seemed I had finally found I can grow Ficus trees. So when ever I see a different color I pick it up.
I have found Beliz, tricolor and Burgundy.

| Oops there goes another rubber tree plant! I killed one just like the one in your middle picture. A robustly growing tree, about 8 yrs old, until I let it freeze to death. Not the wimpy primadonnas like the benjaminas. I think I like the one in your last pic best, though. All Very Pretty!!! |

| Purple, Wonder how many people know what you mean in the first sentence..lol. Hey Marquest. How've you been? What a collection! Hope you have room for these beautys once they grow tall. I was aware there were different colors, especially greens, but didn't know this included variegated types. How long have you had these Ficus? Does the variegated Ficus, front/left have larger leaves than the variegated Ficus, to the right? Very very nice...Toni |
