Saving a Dracaena in my office.

Hi there! This poor thing is so sad. I convinced my boss I can repot it and make it happy. My question is this: Can I soak the heck out of it in its new pot while I have the opportunity when outside repotting it? I am certain it is root bound. I am going to try not to shock it too much. It never gets more than a dixie cup of water. Thank You to anyone taking the time to read this.

Yes u can, it actually doesn't look too bad but it needs more than a Dixie cup.....

Actually, a good shocking is what it needs (needs to be further qualified). It sounds like you could use a hand, so if you're open-minded about working together to rejuvenate the plant, I'll help you do it, but you'll need to have some faith and be willing to engage to the degree that you'll be amenable to making the effort to understand WHY you're doing things a certain way.
