ID and care please

Hi! My step mom gave me ALOT of stuff yesterday. And this one by far is my favorite. She said it was a dracena but that's all she knew. Any care etc. would be MOST appreciated! Also anyone growing this in a gritty mix? She was running out of room (or pots) and kept them in glass mason jars to water root. They have TONS of roots. I still don't know how to post multiple pics do excuse the excessive posts! Thank you!!!

This is what the vine looks like. Well atleast I'm assuming this is a vine! I sure hope this is not supposed to be a tree like because it's more of a vine that's just taking off all over her house. She literally has it wrapped all around a window and back again. I'm not sure if the pieces have come off on their own or she just has to cut them off out of necessity because they crowd everything else but she has them EVERYWHERE.
