my friend gave me a cutting of a plant, and he told me it is a jade plant, but i can't find any jade that looks like it online -anywhere-

so i guess i need help identifying this plant so i can care for it properly. thanks!

RE: jade?

Nope, it's not a jade. It looks like a Kalanchoe, possibly, k. blossfeldiana.

RE: jade?

It looks like a Kananchoe to me too. :)

You could try posting this over in the Cactus and Succulent forum.

RE: jade?

sorry, this is my 1st time and I don't think I did i right--
I was asking about the size of terracotta pots u should use for jades and how shallow they can be I have a 8.5" x 4.5" deep Thanks Mari
I also did another post that perhaps is somewhere--so I will not repeat it--

RE: jade?

Broadly speaking, for succulents, it's suggested that the diameter of the pot be only an inch or 2 larger around than the size of the rootball. Depth is harder to explain.
