Miracle-Gro 12-4-8 liquid fertilizer is a 3:1:2 ratio, and several manufacturers make a 24-8-16, which is also a 3:1:2 ratio. The obstacle is in the fact that these fertilizers don't normally include Ca or Mg, which means you'll need to provide a source for those elements - the same is true for 1:1:1 ratio soluble fertilizers like 20-20-20.

If you're growing in a fast draining soil like the gritty mix, you could add gypsum (CaSO4) when you make the soil (as a Ca source) and then supply your Mg by using a little Epsom salts (MgSO4) each time you fertilize.

Thanks Al. After pricing it all out, I would only save if I could spend more at one time, so it looks like I'll just have to buy the small Foliage Pro for now.

$20 per quart is what I typically pay....but it lasts a long time.
