Living stones in hydroculture??

Posted by rhynno (My Page) on

Hi everyone,

I tried living stones (lithops) again and I have one last question about their culture left. Do you think that they would survive in hydroculture?/semi-hydroponics?/passive hydroponics? (whatever you want to call it)?

Any ideas? Has anyone else ever tried this?

Please let me know your thoughts :).

TY

Cheers,

Ryan

RE: Living stones in hydroculture??

Hi Jim, ty for the info. I'm growing all of my orchids and most of my other house plants using this method and it's going great. My question tho is if lithops are suitable for this growing technique. My knee jerk reaction is no but I'm curious if it'd work??

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated :)!!

Ryan

You should ask on the cacti and succulent forum.

amccour is right. You should ask this in Cacti and Succulents.
It seems to me it would be too much water. They are very fickle.
