hey!
yes, i saw that post. but he did not ASK to id it ;). i don't expect broms people to look-in here...and neo's are too exotic for most people as a house plant to begin with, yet ID!
or better yet go to florida forum - they can and do grow them outside mostly. even in the ground. love that!
want to get me a neo too next year - but i need a dwarf, have no space at all.

...How big do they get?

 o
RE: Neoregelia ID

glop-glop,swallow... 2feet! ;)))
ok, most are like just over a foot, but then they pup - so a cluster can get to 2 feet easily.
but there are lttle ones 7-10", i think i can do a bunch.
feast your eyes. and just may be you'll find smth similar to yours.

Yeah I decided to try something unusual and different cause the plant was so cheap! Humidity may be a challenge but hopefully it will adjust. It gets misted(drenching the leafs but not the cup) 4 times a day and it's also on a small pebble tray that is like only 1/4 the size of the plant. I hope that'll suffice.

it'll most likely loose color after bloom unless it's in very good light.
