The jasmine is supposed to have small white fragrant flowers though I have to say I've never seen them. Perhaps they get lost in the profusion of colours from the leaves. It is used a fair bit as a groundcover landscaping plant here in the warmer parts of Australia.

it's a gorgeous plant, but i've never seen it in US - though based on searches it is well known in asia/au? it is obviously for the south only, unless it's indoors.
