Devils Backbone plant

Hi to all I wanted to know if anyone has had this issue or have heard of it. I ordered a variegate Devils B.B. from a garden center and it was packed in peet and dry so I potted it in cactus soil, my question is it arrived with curled leaves and after several months its still this way. It is pest free and growing fine I just see the ones on line with arrow looking leaves. I never water it until my water gage shows its dry. I truly think these gage's is great for all plants due to under or over watering eve cacti.

I dont understand why these leaves do not open up and look normal. It gets morning sun.

Thanks for your help.

    Your plant is Pedilanthus tithymaloides.

There are several different cultivars, some with curly leaves.

    Can you post a photo?

The more sunlight, leaves darken. Devil's Backbone does wonders outdoors in summer.

Did you buy your plant from a local store? If so, maybe an employee knows its type???

    Toni
