i bought these for $2.00 at walmart the other day.im quite happy with the variegated schefflera but i don't have any idea what this other little guy is.anyone?

The 2nd plant is a Dizzygotheca elegantissima, aka False Aralia, which was discussed in a recent thread, probably still on this front page of Discussions.

These look pretty healthy to me from here, looks like you scored indeed!

Nice plants!

The Dizygotheca elegantissima that I've worked with have usually had thinner leaves than this one.
However, I now see that there are different varieties, some with thicker leaves (D. e. 'Castor').
