Hello,

I am wondering if this white coloring on the stem area of my three plants is a fungus of sorts or if it is natural for this particluar plant ?
I really appreciate your help!!

Hello Rose,

I tried expanding your photo, but my 'puter won't allow it.

Where is the white stuff and can it be wiped off?

Does it look fuzzy or cottony?

The pic is sideways, lol..Your plant is a succulent, but I can't tell if it's Kalanchoe or Crassula. Sorry. Toni

This is upright to me, maybe to others? How long have you had this?

Thanks for your help,
The great guys on the succulent forumn solved the mystery .
the white areas are normal , it is a protective sun coating that this particular plant has.

ps how did you make the photo upright??

That's good to hear. I saved a copy, turned it, uploaded it back in my post.
