Good online orchid store?

| Hi, everyone!
I am a relatively new orchid admirer - about 1 year. I am totally in love with Cyms, I have pink one and yellow one - have no idea what are their "real names", since I got both at local grocery store :-( Both are large types.
Maybe someone here could give me link to some nice and dependable online orchid store? I would love to get more varieties but especially miniature-sized ones, and also WHITE ones (does not matter mini or large, they gorgeous!!). So far all I was able to find online are E-Bay sellers, who knows they are good probably... but I still wanted to ask folks here. |

| You might do better if you go 'next door' as it were, to the Orchid Forum & ask them. See the top of this page & click on Other Forums & then look for Orchid Forum in the alphabetized listings. |

Hi Do you want species, hybrids, cool or warm growers?? The runaway best way to select orchids is by assesing your average growing conditions. There's soooo many types of orchids there's one for every spot!!!! Cynbidiums are a textbook case. Some are tropical some seasonal some large, some small. Some require serious seasonal adjustments to flower well some are happy withoutit. So choose by where you're going to grow them. gary |

| I've never ordered online from Oak Hill Gardens, but I can vouch for them as a brick-and-mortar store. They are about 20 minutes away from my home. They have a greenhouses full of healthy plants, and were quite helpful when I visited them last years. |
Here is a link that might be useful: OakHill Gardens

Thank you all, you the best. I LOVE Oak Hill Gardens, it really seems very nice and professional. So far I am getting Cymb. eburneum and Cymb. Tigrinum, eburneum is white (I really want white!) and tigrinum is small, and both seems to be fragrant. I live in S Carolina so my Cyms spend about 10 months on a porch. Porch is East-South, bright light but sligtly filtered. Very humid and summer temps are around 80-90F, right now we have around 70F and around 50F at night. I dont see any flower spikes yet.. Thank you all for the info! |

| The places mentioned are good ones. Oakhill generally has excellant prices for what you get, and though Andy's is expensive, he carries plants you generally don't see elsewhere and his plants are always in good shape. I would suggest you also seek out an orchid society in your area and look for orchid shows within driving distance. The former will give you folks to ask advice of who are likely growing under similar conditions as yourself and the latter will give you a chance to see a large variety of orchids in person. |
