Opinions... Thoughts. It is my FIL's. its neglected. Recently i picked all the dead stuff off and gave it some tlc. Does it need anything else by looks of it.? This isnt my fav plant, i dont find it appealing or attractive, but aunt julie (the one who recently passed from leukemia) gave plants for xmas and dad got this one. So i want to help keep it healthy...
*sigh* i really miss her.

Would probably do better with more light, judging from the way the newest leaves are shorter. Rotate often. It looks OK but could be more perky. But generally, that's just the look of this plant, tufts on twisting, curling sticks, like a Dr. Seuss plant. D. marginata 'tricolor'. Putting it outside in summer will help keep it from getting floppy, really likes rain water.
