I bought a schefflera from a grocery store 3 days ago. This is my first schefflera and honestly I'm not that experienced with plants myself, so I'm not sure what is happening. Over the course of these 3 days, it's been shedding at least a dozen leaves a day and now is starting to look bare. I keep the soil moist, but not soggy. The temperature in the house is usually kept at 75 to 80 degrees since it's wintertime. I'm afraid that the plant may be being exposed to drafts or perhaps it's stressed. Does anyone know what might be happening? What do I do about the now leafless stems?
