Once again I'm here with a basic query: what do I have on my hands and how should I take care of it?

I recently acquired this little fuzzy guy and was told that it would not need a bigger pot for a good while so all I've done is transfer it from plastic to terracotta.

Any advice re sun and watering? So far so good for the last couple weeks, I just want to make sure to give it what it needs.
