Warneckii, Aglaonema and Zamioculcas are good beginner plants. The only issue I have with ZZ plants is that they are slow growers for me.

Majesty palm is extremely hard to grow indoors, so I wouldn't get too attached to that one.

Majesty palms are sold everywhere as houseplants, but they're incredibly hard to grow. They need high humidity which isn't feasible in the average home. Try your hand at it, the price was certainly right, but don't beat yourself up if the fronds turn brown. Or you could have a real green thumb and it thrives for you!
