Lilies are not houseplants :-) Like many other bulbs (tulips, hyacinths. etc.), they can be potted and forced into bloom out of season. And November is definitely out of season!

Keep them cool and with moist soil and enjoy the flowers when they bloom. Unfortunately they don't last too long. After flowering is done, cut back on the watering and allow the stalks and leaves to dry and turn brown. You can then store your pot of lilies somewhere cold and dark but above freezing. When you are able to, you can plant outdoors in spring in a spot that has lots of sun and very good drainage. You can cut off any remaining stalks at this time.

Like all true bulbs, lilies will only produce a single flowering a season. And forced bulbs may be hesitant to rebloom their first year in the garden. But be patient - if you take care of your plant carefully now, it can reward you with many years of beautiful flowers outdoors.

I kept one pot of bulbs inside as an experiment from last spring, the lily hasn't die down yet still green, the tulips and hyacinths died down and are now getting ready to re sport...will be interesting to see if the bloom inside.

So as was said, you can keep them inside...they may stay green for sometime but soon they will need to go in the garden..
