My Codiaeum variegatum has been flowering constantly for the past several months. It's in a north facing window and I wouldn't say I'm taking exceptionally good care of it, so I can't think of a reason WHY it would be flowering. What gives?

Amccour..I don't know the reason, but Congrats..Getting Croton to bloom is a difficult task. How long have you had your Croton? Toni

Since 2007ish maybe? 2008? 2009? I don't know, I bought it at Walmart and have largely forgotten college by this point. I know that some plants bloom in response to stress -- "Oh no, I'm dying. Better propagate!" Do crotons do this? (It's badly in need of a pruning. It doesn't have a lot of lower foliage -- on the other hand I kind of like the miniature palm-tree look it has).
