Full StoryI saw a wonderfully lacy, soft green fernlike plant in a nursery today. It almost looked like green ostrich plumes all packed into a little pot, and the foliage was very soft and pleasant to the touch. From the bottom of each frond/leaf very thin, straight roots reached down to the potting medium. It was lovely. The nursery tried to tell me it wad a type of moss, but this was a vascular plant with true roots in the soil. I didn't have my phone along to photograph it, so I pinched a geometry. Hope it's enough for an ID.
