| hi there, i have a big bad looking spider plant, with alot of broken leaves and such, i was wondering if its possible to cut it down to the center, has any1 tried this? |

| Now isn't the best time to cut back, but yes, you can do it. If you do, you should bare-root it and repot into a well-aerated and durable soil - one that allows you to flush the soil thoroughly at every watering w/o risking root rot. This REALLY helps you keep the plant attractive, as they are very sensitive to high salt levels in the soil. Watering copiously at every watering helps keep soil salt levels at their lowest. Al |
