hi I have tried several times as of recently to try and grow oxalis iron cross bulbs. I get some online they come in fine, no rot. just firm and fine. I plant them an inch deep. (the bulbs look like crocus corms lol) pointy side up. and water and set on my light shelf. wait and wait. nothing. I unspotted today to see progress. ROTTED! garbage gone. so my question is is there a trick to getting these bulbs to root and sprout after planting? do you just plant and water and wait? or do you need to give them a cold treatment for x amount of weeks as u would say a tulip or daff?
IMO im growing them as a houseplant only, not sure if that helps for answers?. has anyone grew these ok indoors? I plant them 3 per four inch pot. planning to grow under my light shelf if they actually root lol. so if anyone has any experience in planting these indoors and how to get them to root and sprout (no cold treatment, or need a cold treatment, etc) please help me with advice.
thanks
