Poor Ivy. Any hope?

My ivy plant is dying -- all its leaves are turning brown and falling off, and most of its stems are turning woody and darker.

It's currently 4' away from both West and North facing windows, receiving water (left out overnight) only when dry a knuckle or two down.

Here's a photo of the inside of the pot:

The entire plant before I pruned away some dead leaves:

Any hope for saving it? Anything in particular I should do?

veni vidi ditchy (I came, I saw, I ditched) would be my honest advice. Your plants looks like English Ivy does when it succumbs to a terminal case of spider mites. This plant is infamous for this and is the reason why many of us don't bother with them any more.

English Ivy grows rampantly outside, but makes a lousy house guest.

Hey there Rhizo,

Can you hear me giggling (veni vidi ditchy)?
