my mom called me the other day to tell me her HUGE Christmas cactus has all of a sudden dropped all of its buds it formed and now she said its dropping branches :( I asked her if she has over watered it or even if some of the branches close to soil level are mushy where its woody, she said no. she finds it odd her otherwise healthy and largest thanksgiving cactus of her collection would all of a sudden majically abort its flowers and drop branches when its never done this before :( does any one know what causes branches to drop off randomly on them? and what can she do to save it?
